Men’s urology in Tijuana: prostate, kidney and urinary care
A weak stream, getting up at night, burning, flank or testicular pain: different symptoms, one place to sort them out. We see adult men at every stage, from a prostate check to minimally invasive surgery.

What we treat
Urology covers the urinary tract—kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra—and the male reproductive system. Most visits from adult men involve the prostate, stones or infections, and nearly all of them can be solved when addressed early.
The first visit is about understanding what is going on: history, exam and, only when needed, urine, blood or imaging tests. You leave with a clear diagnosis and your options laid out, from watchful waiting to medication or surgery.

Common questions
When should a man see a urologist?
At any age if there are symptoms. Without symptoms, prostate screening usually starts between 45 and 50, or earlier with a close relative who had prostate cancer. How often depends on your case.
Is a prostate exam painful?
It should not hurt. The exam takes a few seconds and may feel uncomfortable, nothing more. Together with a PSA blood test it tells us whether any further study is needed.
Do I need tests before my first visit?
Not necessarily. If you have recent urine tests, PSA results or ultrasounds, bring them; otherwise we order only what is needed.
This page offers general information and does not replace a medical visit. Every case is assessed individually; results and recovery times vary from person to person.
