Privacy policy
How we look after your personal and health information.
Who is responsible
Urología Tijuana, located at Zona Río, Tijuana, B.C., Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you provide, under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
What we collect
- Identification and contact details: name, phone, email and city.
- Sensitive personal data: information about your health, history, symptoms, tests and treatments, shared during a visit or, briefly, through the form on this site.
Please do not send full test results or detailed clinical information through the form: it is meant for booking, not for building a medical record.
How we use it
- To schedule and confirm appointments and reply to your messages.
- To provide medical care and keep your clinical record, as required by Mexican standard NOM-004-SSA3-2012.
- To issue receipts or invoices and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only those involved in your care—laboratories, imaging centers, hospitals, other specialists and, where applicable, your insurer—and authorities when the law requires it. Any other transfer requires your consent.
Retention
Clinical records are kept for at least five years after your last visit, as the standard requires. Form messages that do not lead to a visit are deleted periodically.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw consent by writing to info@urologiatijuana.com with your full name, a copy of your ID and a description of your request. We will respond within twenty business days.
This website
The site does not use advertising cookies. The form records the date, the page you wrote from and technical anti-spam measures. The map and fonts load from Google services, subject to their own privacy policy.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page.
