What to know before you cross

Getting here from San Diego

We are in Tijuana’s Zona Río, a few minutes from the San Ysidro port of entry by taxi or rideshare. The exact location is confirmed when you book.

You can walk across at PedEast or PedWest and take a taxi on the Mexican side, or drive across. Plan for border wait times on the way back; mid-morning on weekdays is usually lighter.

What to bring

A passport or passport card to return to the United States.

Your records: lab work, ultrasounds, CT scans (ideally with the images on a disc or a link) and pathology reports. English is fine.

A list of your medications with doses, and any allergies.

How to book

Call us or fill out the form and mention you are coming from the US, so we can group your visit and tests on the same day when possible.

Fees and payment options are given when you book. If your US plan reimburses out-of-network care, ask us for the receipt and clinical summary you will need to file.

Procedures and follow-up

Several procedures are outpatient and let you ride home the same day as a passenger: vasectomy, circumcision, cystoscopy. Others require one or two nights in a Tijuana hospital.

Before any surgery we agree on the follow-up schedule and on what to do if a question comes up once you are home. You receive a written summary for your doctor in the US.

Border wait times change daily; check CBP before you leave. We do not publish prices: they are given when you book.
